Such people are found in a variety of ways. Observations in conferences, Internet searches, and professional profiles are some ways to find them. See who seems to know the most about some specific area. Does that person have a newsletter, website, or some way to keep track of the insights from that person‘s scanning? If you have to keep track of five areas, than find out who are the key scanners in each of other areas––and monitor them.
