Не ручаюсь за 100% правильность, но я перевел вот так:
1."In addition, use of coagulant speeding up the drying process\(dehydration) of settling on the sludge bank and (speeding up) it's (their) drying."

2."In addition, use of coagulant speeding up the drying process\(dehydration) of settling on the sludge bank and speeding up their drying."

Но я больше склоняюсь к первому.
