Делаю перевод статьи на русский. Интересует вопрос, можно ли в данном предложении слово "case" как "обстоятельство". Спасибо за ответы по сути.

вообще то одно из первых значений это "митинг", "собрание". По смыслу подходит.

Биржевый рынок слегка того.... оживился... т.е. там попробовали оживить рынок/ повысить активность рынка (в смысле повышения курсов ценных бумаг, цен вообще) потому что ....
