Subject: pls help to translate correspondence -from eng to rus gen. We understand the difficulty you face in trying to substantiate a price increase for a given product given the confidentiality we require around product formulations and actual costs. However, during our meeting we used the publically available information contained in our msds sheets to approximate the cost impact for specific components. The European msds that we provide are required to disclose the hazardous components and indicate a ‘range’ of concentration eg 30 – 60%. As most of the primary solvents are key cost drivers and are hazardous, they are therefore detailed in the msds. Therefore by estimating an average content, we have a basic method of assessing cost impact per component in a given product. We reviewed each of the msds associated with the core 6 products and I showed how the primary components could be linked with the trended cost data. To summarise this, I have tabulated the product, primary component drivers, cost increases from the trend graphs and the relative component cost increase. Hopefully, this is the key justification you require and can use to generate approval for our price increase proposal. Please note that some of the active component cost drivers are primary raw materials (eg TOFA) used in the fundamental reaction process and as such are confidential and details as ‘na’ in the table
