It seems that there are no significant differences in the types and locations of EGFR mutations between the NSCLCs of Asians and non-Asians. All EGFR mutations are in the same loci of the DNA of NSCLC tumors (exons 18 to 21). In addition, this seems to be true for the secondary mutation T790M, which confers resistance to EGFR TKIs,and for the MET gene amplification resistance mechanism between people of different ethnicities.

По всей вероятности, у больных с НМРЛ из азиат-ских и неазиатских популяций отсутствуют статистически значимые различия в типе и локали-зации мутаций EGFR. У всех больных мутации EGFR располагаются в одних и тех же локусах ДНК опухоли (с 18 по 21 экзоны). Кроме того, это, по-видимому, касается и вторичной мутации T790M, определяющей резистентность к ИТК EGFR, и (??? механизма резистентности к амплификации гена MET???) у больных разных национальностей.
