Привет!
Как всё-таки правильнее сказать "записать ч-л во ч-л" (напр. "запиши эту информацию в свою записную книжку (тетрадь)")? "put (write) smth down to a notebook (copybook)" или "put (write) smth down into a notebook (copybook)"? Какой артикль (a или the) правильнее ставить перед "notebook (copybook)"?

Several possibilities here, really:
"put this in your diary" (very British), or otherwise "in your notebook"
or alternatively,
"make a note of this"

put/write down into notebook - sounds american. a/the - depends on situation..
