Subject:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rector

"The rector is the highest academic official of many universities and certain other institutions of higher, sometimes even secondary, education.

A notable exception to this terminology was in England and Great Britain, where universities were traditionally headed by a "Chancellor". This title was followed in the Commonwealth, United States of America, and other countries under British influence. Scotland follows this practice: many of its universities are headed by a Chancellor, with the Lord Rector designated as an elected representative of students heading the university court."

So, it is either Rector or Chancellor, I guess
