Выражение встречается в следующем контексте:LP steam from the HP/LP letdown station, HP blowdown drum and LP/HP flash drum at app 100 t/h at 160 C temperature and 6 barg pressure which distributed to multiple users.
Excess steam of 40 t/h is condensed and condensate sent to the LP condensate header.

рискну предположить, что это установка понижения давления (с высокого (HP) до низкого (LP)), но лучше дождитесь специалистов.

Спасибо, меня letdown все время с толку сбивает

HP/LP letdown pressure control system
HP steam production is app 400 t/h at pressure 40 barg and 272 C. App 20 t/h HP steam is used for heating by various process, 320 t/h is used by AGRU (after letdown) and rest is letdown into the LP steam header.
значит понижающие давление. Думал, что что-то более сложное
