по контексту речь идет о перфекционистке.

I think Paula's perfectionist streak, which I described above, is the one thing I would change about her if I could. However, I also understand much of this is an ingrained cultural trait, but I do hope that as Paula matures as a person and as a professional, she will learn to accept her already excellent work productivity and habits as better than just "good enough."
