Subject: кредит "храм" fin. I've encountered a brief sentence, with no surrounding context, describing the money given to an unspecified firm as кредит "храм", but can't find this expression anywhere.Does храм perhaps suggest that the firm's credit rating is the best possible? | If translated word-for-word, кредит "храм" means "loan "temple/church"", or "loan named "temple/church"". It makes no sense. No bank loan can be named "temple/church". Bank loans can be named "Mortgage" or "Auto Loan" (for buying a car), or "Loan for Immediate Needs". I think you cannot take a bank loan to build a temple/church. |

Vasya, it was originally handwritten, but has been transcribed. It's written by an Soviet-era Russian, so there's no likelihood of an Islamic or church connection |

Говорил с ним о деньгах фирме - кредит "храм" looks like "хрен" indeed. I talked to him about money to the firm - there's no f*g chance to get a credit. If you have a pic of the handwritten text - that'll be fine. |
