= stays (days/night spent in the hotel) that are paid for by those "bonus gold points" to redeem bonus points = to pay with bonus points for some goods or services |

| well, some companies also allow their clients to redeem points for cash, i.e. to get cash back for certain amount(s) of accumulated bonus points. but that is just a side note, not the case here |
