Здравствуйте. Помогите пожалуйста понять что такое Cut-off в вопросах из анкеты для аудиторов:

Inventory Cut-off
Have you traced and tested the cut-off information obtained during the physical observation to the accounting records of sales and purchases and tested adjustments?

Accounts Receivable Cut-off
Have you performed analytical procedures to identify peaks in sales volume in the last few days or weeks of the year and test cut-off by inspecting sales register, billings, shipping documents and other supporting documents before and after the year-end date?

Cash Cut-off
Have you tested cut-off of cash receipts and cash disbursements for transfers between different bank accounts at the balance sheet date?

Бухг.термин - смена отчётных периодов, но вроде не вяжется. Скорее всего, Информация за отчетный период.

А не может cut-off в данном случае служить по смыслу как "списание"?
Например:
Inventory cut-off - списание ТМЦ (товарно-материальных ценностей)
Accounts Receivable Cut-off - списание дебиторской задолженности
Cash Cut-off - списание наличности

????
