Subject: Помогите с выражением To translate into EnglishНаши условия - платеж по получении счета. |
payment against (the) invoice |
Our conditions: payment upon presentation of the account. |
Hi ozmical, what's cooking? I don't think I can top your variant; however, is it possible that the asker's Our terms of payment: due (immediately) upon receipt of the bill. |
Hey there, Volchok-ski! Kak tam ukrainskaya zima? I think that the first option is the best, but I loathe technical jargon because all that stuff should really be much simpler and not require a special 'accounting dictionary' even in English. Your version sounds good too. In my mind, as long as the statement makes the same sense, it is irrelevant which words are used. |
"Kak tam ukrainskaya zima?" Long and cold; I wish I could "sing a song and bring a warm sunny weather". |
Too bad about the current weather situation in Oz: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40862006/ns/weather/ BTW, 'weather' cannot use the article 'a'. The lyrics you've quoted are: "sing a song and bring THE sunny weather". (Da, ya znayu, dotoshshnyi ya chego-to...) |
ozmikal, "Too bad about the current weather situation in Oz" I had no idea. Sorry about that. "'weather' cannot use the article 'a'" But, you see, when it comes to creative writing, I do not feel so intimidated and bound by formal rules. |
