Слова "трибуна" и "президиум" - перевод на английский

Прошу помочь с переводом на английский слов "трибуна" (место для выступлений) и "президиум" (группа людей, руководящих заседанием).

Пробовал переводить как tribune и pesidium соответственно, но мой собеседник за рубежом не понял смысла этих переводов и указал на следующие статьи в словаре:

Your meaning looks like the second meaning, which is quite unusual in English.

Вы бы контекст дали. *Адекватного* перевода без контекста не бывает.

Спасибо! По контексту трибуна - место для выступления докладчика в зале, т.е. элемент мебели, на который можно положить доклад для чтения его перед аудиторией.

Нашел в Оксфордовском словаре слово Lectern - что скажете?

А что насчет Президиума?)
