Environmental problems in the Baltic region
The Baltic region is located in pool of Baltic Sea and its structure includes the coastal states: Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. The great value in a life of each state has Baltic Sea. It almost closed and has the limited connection with World Ocean. My first course work was dedicated to the problem of dumping of chemical weapons in the Baltic Sea.
After the Second World War the sea threatens us with chemical danger. There are a lot of yperite on the Baltic sea bottom. The fish caught in the Baltic sea, may contain this very dangerous chemical substances. Also there is a problem of fresh water in our region.The rivers and lakes are heavily polluted. Among global problems, there is a problem of toxic continental water pollution in the Baltic region. A plenty of organic and inorganic harmful industrial substances enter in water ecosystems. The most dangerous inorganic substances are heavy metals because they are not exposed to decomposition, and collect in organisms. Heavy metals collecting in different pieces of the foodchain and are make toxicoses in the top pieces of the foodchain (usually, it means in a man).
Baltic region is an area which is used by several countries, with different social, economy and political development. As the result we can see lots of environmental problems in this area – there are water chemical and biological pollution, reduction of fresh water, transboundary pollution, reduction of biological and particularly fish resource. This problems usually global one, but in this case we are talking about small (in global meaning) territory, so such concentration of so much problems seams very dangerously. Any way for now it is very common to think that the low economy advanced countries is the main sources of any pollution because of their incomplete ecological technologies. In this case Russia and few countries like Lithuania, Estonia is looks like the main polluters. But it is only half of the problem, another way is high industrial countries which is of course more advanced in ecological policy, but anyway pollute the Baltic region environment.

Нет, уважаемая Роксана, экзамены - тот случай, когда каждый должен это делать сам. Если не получается, то это - не Ваше. М.б., имеет смысл поискать других путей в жизни.
