Please post the original Russian (I hope not Tatar! :-) of the last two sentences, as they're hard to edit as translated.

Этот перевод мне дали и оригинальных русских предложений как таковых нет. вот я сама составила предложения. Но строго их придерживаться необязательно, ведь главное передать смысл.
На юбилей города был сделан подарок городу- перестройка его центральной части.
К сожалению, сейчас активно ведется застройка исторической части города огромными торговыми центрами.
