To catch God by the balls ...не совсем за бороду, но скажите тогда by the beard. Выражение редко, но употребляется в Великобритании. |

"Да, я хотела чтобы намек на Бога был.." Don't limit the range of choices like this; when translating they already limited enough. Besides, your task is not to keep the "Bog" but to keep the meaning. If seizing fortune by the forelock is a better fit in terms of meaning, then that's what you got to use. |
