Position Summary
Purpose: The appointee will manage computerised geological data systems to ensure accurate resource and reserve reporting. He/she will also be responsible for selecting and maintaining geological systems and ensuring the correct use thereof.
Job Requirements Qualifications Required:
- BSc (Hons) Geology degree/BTech Geology
Experience
- Possession of or ability to acquire a Red Ticket
- Valid driver’s licence
- Database management experience/qualification will be advantageous Experience Required: - Database management experience/qualification will be advantageous
- Approximately 3-6 years’ geological experience in a mining and/or exploration environment (preferably coal mining)
