Тематика: оценка затрат (издержек) по проекту, составление сметы.

Контекст:

The costs for the majority of bulk material and other direct accounts are factored from the equipment cost using multipliers obtained from actual historical cost data for similar projects.

The remaining small bore pipe and fittings is then factored from the large bore pipe and fittings quantity.

Engineering design, procurement and project management costs are factored from the Direct Costs. The factor to be applied for Engineering and Home Office Costs shall be expressed as a historical percentage of Direct Job Costs.

про бухалтерию не скажу, но в математике factor - это просто разложение на множители. Здесь похоже на обратный смысл - образованы как произведение или домножены на.
а вот The factor to be applied - тут это просто множитель
The out of factor - м.б. не укладывающиеся в эту схему (множителей)

Большое спасибо! Навело на мысли :) Наверное, не стану так прямо про умножение писать - мне кажется, в некоторых предложниях речь идет просто о вычислениях (не обязательно путем умножения на что-то, но и делением, и вычитанием), но вижу, что шла в верном направлении.

Получается примерно так:

costs that are factored from - вычисляются исходя из... или ...исчисляются из количества …

out of factor - стоимость статей издержек, исчисляемых без применения коэффициентов

factored cost estimate elements - элементы сметы, исчисляемые с применением коэффициента (и ничего факторизованного, я не совсем понимаю, что это слово означает по-русски)

Если кто-то все же увидит, что мы с Enote неправы - пожалуйста, поправьте, пока я текст не сдала :)

Вот пример "из жизни" - похоже, что "factored" - это "получено путем умножения на какой-то [постоянный] коэффициент"....
