Ученый, когда совершает открытие, подобен петуху, который радостным криком стремится оповестить весь мир о наступлении утра. И как этому самому петуху, ученому на тот момент нет дела до последствий его открытия.

When a scientis makes a discovery he shouts "eureka" while looking like a rooster making a morning call. Neither the scientis nor the rooster are concerned about the consequences of such an action at the very moment.

When making a discovery a scientist is like a rooster desiring to tell the whole world that the morning has come with its happy crow. And, just like that rooster, the scientist does not care about the consequences of his discovery at that moment.
