Люди, помогите советом! Кажется я допустил глюк, пусть не шибко страшный, но все же.. я тут писал заяву в полицию. в русском шло значит.... пока он ждал приезда наряда полиции, он разбил головой окно и пытался бежать. так вот, я написал he used his head to break a window... думаете это страшная бредятина??

да. согласно с TM, а то получилось конечно интересно и нельзя сказать, что неправильно :))) но не для заявления в полицию. Хотя почитать их перлы (я имею ввиду полицейских, милиционеров всяких), так там еще и не такое встречается.

well, mushy, mine version is in no way as spectacularly half-assed as gel's thinly veiled parody :-))). in fact, it is not poetic at all, and eventhough some of the words i used may not be part of ur average run-of-the-mill cop's vocubulary, to say that it is too spirituel, as u pit it, presupposes that all cops r dumb and inarticulate, which is far from the truth, for otherwise america would be even more crime-infested than it actually is.

Люди, супер! хотя я чувствую себя плохо, но часть тревоги оставила закоулки моей души... наверное там посмеялись боссы, но подписать -подписали и то ладно... а как по вашему лучше написать акт на списание? тут у нас давеча пропали кой какие товары, проводится расследование и оказалось там forged invoices и прочий криминал, так вот, я ломаю голову как написать ак на списание.. пока делаю черновик и везде пишу типа writing off act or act on wiriting off.. хотя не уверен правильный ли это выбор.. кто-нибудь сталкивался с этим??

volad, consider act of stolen/misplaced stock deductible. i strongly suspect write-off would not fly here, although i will be the first to admit i may be way off the mark here. but my suggestion should do for a start, bounce it off of a couple of expats to gauge their reaction, and if it coasts though, u r home free, if not, it is back to the drawing board again.
