Читаю книгу, и встретилось такое предложение.I say, trying not to gabble. “I wondered if maybe I could talk with someone in your HR department, explain our services, maybe put a pitch together—” вот еще нашла в Интернете с этим же значением: Let’s say you started a business and are looking for money to either jump start and/or grow your operation. While working on the widget, finding customers/partners and lining up your team, you also need to find time to put a pitch together to convince the investor community that you are the ONE. |

PITCH... Когда я в молодости машины продавал, для нас это был профессиональный слэнговый термин. Вроде презентации, но с элементом наглости и приукрашивания правды. Так вот, put a pitch together значит подготовить эту самую "презентацию". |
