| Дело вот в чем: о каком заработке идет речь? Если о том, что он потерял, пока лечился - это одно, а если он в результате injury не сможет зарабатывать больше никогда ТАКИЕ суммы, то это другое. |
| I like Rudut's and V's "lost earnings." YOu could also say "lost income". INHO, that would apply to both the income lost termperarily, while in treatment and long-term results of disability (like inability to earn money because of long-term disability). Many insurance contracts have clauses to deal with both short-term and long-term effects of income loss. |
| ... and it (= manque-a-gagner) also denotes the monies paid to freelancers for the days spent on travel to the conference venue ( he can't work while travelling, hence loses, forgoes income :-)) |
