This LEEDTM Silver facility features energy-saving measures such as: recycled and low-VOC materials; recycling stations; reflective roofing; high-performance glazing; high-efficiency interior lighting; photovoltaic exterior lighting; direct digital controls; energy efficient motors; demand control ventilation; a high-efficiency chiller; and variable air volume systems. The facility also features waterless urinals and dual flush toilets, as well as green housekeeping practices and alternative fuel vehicle refueling stations. Despite heavy processing loads, the facility reduces annual water usage by 45 percent and is about 22 percent more energy efficient than ASHRAE standards.
