Does anyone (maybe native speakers) know any set expression of this phrase in English? I could use "the world is not perfect", but it seems too plain for me. I need more colorful phrase, maybe a metaphore.

I will be grateful for any suggestions

А вообще Ваш вариант "идеален". Или поверните по-другому:
