Subject: imaging oil PIP Troubleshooting (печатные машины)Symptom Wide light and bright stripe across the image (about 15 cm)
Cause
• The PIP was exposed to light.
• Heat damage on PIP surface due to contact with ITM.
Corrective actions
• Verify that all doors are closed (including the PIP slide door).
• Cool the ITM drum to 60 degrees prior to the PIP installation.
• Use imaging oil to wash the pip under layer and to “glue” the tail edge of the PIP to the drum.
