Subject: explain away one's problems relig.
In the face of mounting difficulties and growing dangers, and amid the crucible of fiery trials, a true, God-implanted faith will ultimately remain strong and steadfast. This is the unwavering nature of faith that is anchored in God. Trusting the Lord does not naively ***explain away one's problems***, nor make them less than what they really are. Neither docs faith go into denial and pretend that problems do not exist. To the contrary, faith faces problems head-on with a positive, triumphant outlook. Faith believes that God will inevitably work for our good as he pursues his own glory.

to explain something away - to minimize the significance of an embarrassing fact or action by giving an excuse or justification, e.g., 'They know stories about me that I can't explain away.'

как раб. вариант
Положиться на Бога – не значит найти причину наивно отмахнуться от проблем
