Ещё со школьных тем помню: to do exercises. Т. е. имеется ввиду, что несколько упражнений (оздоровительных), а не одно.

FYI: to workout implies lifting weights and pushing yourself to do a lot of push-ups, etc. Working out implies building muscle and body mass.

Note that you added the words "light" or "walking". Did you notice that? It's because they are different from just working out.

If your Zaryada is in the middle of the day or not in the morning you can say light exercises.
