////Билеты разыгрывала//// компания, в которой работает молодой человек. Конкурс проходил в Хабаровске; участникам нужно было исполнить песню на любой мотив, главное, чтобы слова были о компании.

трудности перевода. к слову разыгрывать словарь даёт raffle(я так понимаю в лотерее), а тут за "кто лучше". Вопрос: всё равно raffle?

this is a bad usage in Russian, for "разыгрывать" means something like a lottery, a game of chance... in your case it looks like a competition, which is an altogether different matter... the tickets were not drawn, but awarded to the winner.... no draw here.... it was an award...

как-то так:
The tickets were the prize for the singing competition held by the company ..

The tickets were awarded to this young man as a prize for winning the singing competition held by his employer/ company.
