18. PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
As part of the strategy proposed for the execution of the Project Carabobo, it has been considered to execute the project in two phases: the first phase comprising the development of the facilities of the required infrastructure for the initial, which shall be ready in mid 2011, and the construction of the permanent infrastructure, which includes the Upgrading Complex for crude that must be operating by the year 2014. The second phase of thermal production requires investment in the facilities necessary for the injection of vapor to increase the recovery factor of the production wells. These facilities shall be ready and operating by the year 2026, corresponding to year 18of the production development plan.
18.1. INITIAL PRODUCTION AND PERMANENT FACILITIES (COLD PRODUCTION)
Comprises the development of the infrastructure required for the initial production and the permanent facilities of production that include the upgrader, which shall be structured the following way:
18.1.1. Surface Production and Installation Unit (Initial Production)
It includes the infrastructure of the wells and multiple directional drilling platforms for the production of the first 100 MBD of diluted crude oil (60 MBD extra heavy crude oil 8°API and 40 MBD of formation crude), the first production module, diluenduct, pipeline from the Central Processing Station (ECP, acronym in Spanish) to the existing facilities at the Production Station Morichal 1 (EPM-1, acronym in Spanish) and the surface facilities required for the initial production.
During the advance of the engineering phase, other possibilities of increasing initial production will be evaluated. This production shall be sent to JOSE until the year 2011.

Initial production - начальная стадия разработки.
Thermal production - разработка методами (паро)теплового воздействия на пласт (можно короче - "тепловая разработка")
Cold production - только здесь - разработка традиционными методами.
Surface production - не surface production, а surface production facilities - промысловые объекты добычи и подготовки нефти
Central Processing Station - ЦППН (цех подготовки и перекачки нефти)
Upgrader - собственно узел подготовки нефти, элемент ЦППН.

ЦППН - это российская реалия. Для Венецуэлы больше подойдет "центральный узел подготовки нефти".

Про central processing station можно как угодно, главное - отразить, что эта фигня - центральная и что это место окончательной подготовки нефти до товарной кондиции, далее нефть уже идет готовенькая, потребителю. А узел это, цех, станция, комплекс, пункт, объект, завод и т.д. - это вот как раз как вы обзовете, так оно и будет. Войдете в историю в качестве автора термина :))
