| aibolit, do bear in mind that i m an absolute ignoramus when it comes to aircraft, so the following is just a conjecture. that's a caveat emptor for u :-) there r usually two pilots in a cockpit, so when they need to exchange control of the plane, they can't do that if the second pilot is not licensed to operate a plane. maybe that's what this mysterious phrase means, a licence allowing the first pilot to pass control to the second. |
