As requested in your e-mail as of 9 December 2008, in this memo we have briefly outline (i) the current status of the filing made by the CO to the Governmental Authority in order to obtain its approval for indirect acquisition of the Substantial Stake in the Bank, (ii) possible work-around solutions in case if the Company will fail to obtain the Approval before acquisition of the Substantial Stake, and (iii) sanctions provided by the law for failing to receive the Approval. We have been informed by the Bank that the Filing has been submitted to the Governmental Authority on 3 December 2008 by the Law Firm, engaged by the Bank for the purposes of dealing with the Governmental Authority in connection with the Filing. Under the applicable law the Filing review period is 30 calendar days. However, the Governmental authority may extend the period for the time required to provide the Governmental Authority with explanations and additional documents. Taking into consideration the above, should no clarifications, explanations will be required by the Governmental Authority, the Approval may be issued by 3 January 2009. During our toady’s conference call with _, the latter informed us on his preliminary agreement with the Governmental Authority to receive the Approval by 20 December 2008. Please note that this statement is not and may not be officially confirmed by the Governmental Authority and based solely on oral statement of _.

так сформулированы или переведены? и почему на русском "приблизительно"?

Приблизительно - потому как я не переводил, а сразу писал на английском. Письмо очень важное, поэтому обращаюсь за помошью к профессионалам, в надежде на то, что могут указать хотя бы на самые грубые ошибки (в английском тексте). Заранее спасибо.

или if или in case. Смысл немного отличается, но выберите одно из двух. В любом случае, буд. вр. в таких предложениях не употребляется. Замените на настоящее или сделайте через should.

Taking THE ABOVE into consideration the above, should, IF no clarifications OR explanations ARE will be required by the Governmental Authority, the Approval may be issued by 3 January 3, 2009.
