Никак не могу понять смысла предложения "For our Mr. Smith will be well suited to negotiate, in the favour of the buyer, a second "hair cut deal", i.e. repayment of Morgan Stanley and the banking pool at less than 100 %, let's say at 75 % or so".
На всякий случай - автор письма немец.

вот эта разница между 100% и 75% и есть hair cut (дисконт)
