Дамы и господа! Что за braingels??? В m-w нашёл braingE (= breenge=a clumsy plunge or dash). Но встретил пер-д некоего Кирилла Игнатова:

Я думал, mischievous braingels - это когда его тянут, тащут вглубь губительные (mischievous в данном случае) (волны)...

Помогите разобраться, PLEASE!

До кучи:
There is nothing to be gained by death, which explains the content of "The Ocean Doesn’t Want Me." The narrator has demons in his head (“mischievous braingels” – brain angels(589)) and is tempted to get rid of them (“I’ll open my head and let out all of my time”(590)) by jumping in the ocean. It is a perfect night for it (“a rip tide is raging / and the life guard is away” (591)) but he cannot bring himself to doing it: “The ocean doesn’t want me today.” (592)
