Заранее прошу прощения за отсутствие реальной переводческой проблемы, но я наткнулась на непонятное мне предложение в одном из онлайновых тестов (отдыхала таким образом). По тесту нужно было выбрать одним из вариантов ответа, дело не этом. Вот само предложение:

I had sooner you didn`t tell my parents about it (пунктуация оригинала).

А вот вопрос: как это перевести-то? и что за конструкция такая?

Есть такая конструкция - мне бы не хотелось, чтобы ты рассказал об этом моим родителям. См. ниже
