Subject: linguistic area Each transfer of the seat of the company within the same linguistic area will be decided by the board of directors. |
в догонку: что может значить "in accordance with the language legislation"? |
Может, подойдет linguis'tic ar'ea Ling. a geographical area in which several languages sharing common features are spoken. http://www.infoplease.com/ipd/A0518019.html А вообще из поиска я понял, что сие понятие весьма глубоко и широко есть, и трактует его кто как хочет. Areal linguistics is the study of a linguistic area. Linguistic area is used in a technical sense by Emeneau and is equivalent to the German term Sprachbund. He defines a linguistic area as 'an area which includes languages belonging to more than one family, but showing traits in common which are found not to belong to the other members (at least) one of the families.' Weinreich preferred to call a linguistic area as a 'convergence area' rather than linguistic area and said that it would be more specifically meaningful. Emeneau reacted to this by taking the process of diffusion into consideration and suggested 'diffusion area' as a specific and meaningful term for India and historical grammar. He further argues that the term is not still specific, as the effect of the process is the same whether between dialects of a language or language of a family or languages of several families. In the light of this discussion he suggested that it would be more specific to call 'multilingual convergence (diffusion) area' as opposed to 'multilingual convergence (diffusion) area'. Still he feels that all these terms are cumbersome and would prefer the simpler term 'linguistic area'. It is difficult, however, to describe northwestern California as a linguistic area distinct from surrounding areas, since...
