Expediting Purchase Orders –
The turnaround time for the receipt and delivery of purchase order items can become unacceptable to a business. In order to speed up the delivery of an item, or to ensure that it will be delivered on the specified date, a business may expedite their purchase orders through the use of follow up letters and faxes sent to the Supplier involved.
This process enables users to create and maintain an automatic expediting system for both catalogued and non-catalogued items.
Expediting is done using the following mechanisms:
• Expediting codes
• Expediting action codes
While the expedite system can be completely automatic, any order or item can be controlled manually by nominating the action code and expedite date on an order item. Once manual expedite is specified, automatic expedite is switched off for that item.

Мултитран дает для Expediting два варианта: ускорение и контроль сроков, но имхо для данного конексту и то и другое не вполне подходит, хочется (но не полуцается :( заклинило :( построить что-то среднее между первым и вторым ...

expediting codes and expediting actions - м.б., немного переиграть: контрольные коды и меры по ускорению выполнения заказа
отправлять факсы, звонить контактным лицам с целью ускорения выполнения заказа
К сожалению, все, что могу предложить.

justboris: ТМ так надеялся найти в Вашем лице соратника, ему-то одному не удается справиться с двумя хрупкими созданиями. Но Вы все правильно делаете: так держать! ТМ, а Вы уверены, что Вам не принесут "патентовать" какую-нибудь сложную финансовую модель, не иглоукалыванием единым... :-)))
