The purpose of this trial is to compare the efficacy of the drug or placebo in conjunction with optimal current therapy on the time to all-cause mortality, on the time to first occurrence of cardiovascular mortality or hospitalisation for heart failure and on the composite subject-assessed global clinical status and change from baseline in body weight in subjects hospitalised with worsening congestive heart failure.
