Граждане, ну не понимаю я, что эти американцы хотят сказать вот такой фразой:

"As the rest of the economy develops, and there are more banks, petrochemical companies, industrial players trying to create a presence in a market that they know that they have to be in, and successfully beginning to build operations there".

Начало понятно, а после "players" как-то путано...
Речь идет о том, какие секторы экономики будут развиваться быстрее. Весь кусок:

"I think that the retail sector will develop the fastest, followed by office. As the rest of the economy develops, and there are more banks, petrochemical companies, industrial players trying to create a presence in a market that they know that they have to be in, and successfully beginning to build operations there. Most are already there with at least some kind of outpost, and if other markets are anything to go by, once these outposts are established, their demands in terms of office space tends to grow substantially".

....игроков, пытающихся занять свое место на рынке, на котором, по их убеждению, они должны присутсвовать, и с успехом начавших свою деятельность на этом рынке.

Having said that... мне кажется, что что-то здесь лишнее, или чего-то не хватает. Было бы логичнее, если бы As the rest of шло через запятую после первого предложения, или and в "and there are more" лишенее.
