label claim: this simply means what the product claims to consist of or what it purports to effect, with such information appreaing prominently or otherwise on the package. it is not indian english, it is standard english, if ever there was such a thing :)))))) tal'

tarion, oryssha kalay belmeimyn. why not do away with it, since in russian it is implied? it is implicit in russian that the info is provided by the manufacturer. in english it is used to limit the overseeing agency's litigation exposure in case something goes wrong. or, but only as the last resort, u may plum for somethign like, zayavlennoe soderzhanie. i dont particularly like this myself, it sounds malapropist in russia, but i m so exhausted tonight, i can hardly think straight. tal'

Не знаю, подходит ли это в данном случае.

Я так поняла, что это утверждения типа Calorie-free, Low Cholesterol и т.п. Т.е. в какой-то мере "рекламные" заявления
