если это агрегат на электростанции - электрогенератор
если это станция в целом в системе - источник электроэнергии (в отличие от потребителя, нагрузки)

А чем вам генератор не нравится? На электростанции, в сущности, основное - это приводное устройство (турбина, к примеру), и устройство, которое вращается под действием этого привода и вырабатывает ток - т.е., генератор..
Если не подходит - тогда контекста нужно побольше.
