Depending on the business plan which the listed funds are based on, they are more or less "blind funds". Thus, management can invest in anything as long as it is in line with the prospectuses. Sometimes, direct investors are also willing to invest their money in blind funds. What at first glance looks like a risky way to invest money may be quite different after taking a closer look. There are two schools of thought when it comes to risk. The first school claims that the more control there is, the better the reasoning, and, therefore, the less risk there is of wrong decisions. The second school claims that less control is better because the layers of decision-making bodies lead to irresponsibility and decisions are made too far away from the "hot spot".
