IT Allocations is the process to allocate all of IT expenses to the customers monthly based upon their percentage of usage of various "pools" of IT costs. Transfer Pricing, on the other hand, "bills" the IT customers at a set rate based upon the customer usage of an IT Service. Both processes have pluses and minuses.
