The Bank defines both asset and liability value to be used when calculating the margin value. When margin values are calculated on liabilities the same rate will be used for both assets and liabilities, but the method of margin requirement calculation is different for assets and liabilities and derivatives. The bank specified margin values to be used on sub asset level and on security level.
Therefore the Bank may use the Customer’s portfolio margin value as collateral to take Financing loan for the purchase of financial instruments.
А если еще кто-нибудь подскажет, как лучше перевести "margin value", будет просто волшебно.
