Subject: in a grand scheme of things Как лучше перевести "in a grand scheme of things" в следующем тексте? Заранее большое спасибо."We have our best crappie fishing at Paint from about the middle of October to mid-November." Paint Creek is a 1,200-acre, flood-control reservoir spanning Highland and Ross counties south of Greenfield. The lake seems larger because it's a long, narrow body of water fed by two major streams, Paint Creek and Rattlesnake Creek. It is well to take the advice of a fishing expert, but when it comes to fall fishing, some people can't wait. I'm one of them. So despite Palmer's recommendation, I was at Paint Creek last week on a delightful, sunny day. Not a crappie, nor did I see anyone else having much luck with the pan fish. Some dandy bluegills were taken. And I wished I had some dough balls. Carp, including big ones, roamed through the shallows next to the banks. Yet whether one catches fish, or not, it's really a minor point in a grand scheme of things on a beautiful day spent in the out-of-doors. Paint Creek is a place where one can sit back and take in the scenery. Other than three boat landings, a swimming beach and a state park campground barely visible from the water, the lake has trees on all sides. |
