Господа, как корректнее перевести на английский степень "доктор экономических наук"?
Точного ответа не нашёл, мой взгляд - Doctor of Economical Science.
Нормально?

sorry, I had no idea. Do you mean confusion or/and misconception because of the Russian "Candidate" degree?

Sure. We have a "two-step" system and "doctor" is the highest degree.
Our "candidate" is almost PhD but there is some difference.

as far as I can see on MT both "candidate" and "doctor" are translated with PhD, so how do you normally translate "доктор/кандидат медицинских наук" и т.п.?

PhD Med and PhD Sci - how do you transform them into Russian? Some links related thereto will be highly appreciated.

You can search in this forum. My opinion is not dominating. :)

I searched the forum, more or less the same results as in MT dictionaries. So I will stay with PhDs applicable in both cases and hope that the Russian system will be adjusted to comply with global requirements:-)
