I am deliberately using the word scenario here instead of continuity (which is the correct name for the working script) in order to avoid confusion when discussing faults in the scenario which result in bad continuity in the film. — Я сознательно использую слово scenario вместо continuity (которое является вполне правильным именем для рабочего сценария), чтобы избежать путаницы при обсуждении недостатков сценария, приведших к плохому качеству отснятых кадров в фильме. |

The continuity person tries to prevent embarrassing gaffes in the final film, such as an actor wearing a hat that mysteriously disappears in one shot then reappears in another. The continuity person logs how many times a scene was shot, how long the shot lasted, which actors were in the scene, where they were standing and any other intricate details -- like that disappearing hat! |

Есть еще continuity announcer - responsible for giving listeners or viewers information between the programmes. Кроме того, continuity person занимается не только фильмами, но и всяческими трансляциями, опять таки с целью создать впечатление непрерывного действа. |

а как же их по-русски назвать? нашлось еще одно упоминание, Q/A на сайте сериала "24 часа" Q: A show like 24 must be full of continuity errors. Like when do they use the bathroom, when do they eat (Palmer must have been very hungry when his breakfast meeting was cancelled) and I thought LA traffic was such a burden. But Jack seldom rides his car for longer than 20 minutes. What does the 24-master think about these 'errors'? A: The show does have a team of continuity people who look after things like stubble length, bruises and costume consistency - and I have to say I've been very impressed with the level of continuity. As for the food and toilet visits issue, well the producers explain this away by saying that most toilet breaks seem to happen during the breaks. Seems fair, as, in America at least, that's when the audience pee too. Having been a fan of many other shows that simply haven't paid attention to their own continuity, I think 24 does a superb job… |

если еще на поздно... таймингом и соответствием одежды занимается второй режиссер (в российской съемочной группе, в Америке, по-моему, такой должности нет) есть еще такой человек - "оператор видеоконтроля" (видеоконтроль - это как раз запись съемки) |
