Как правильно перевести:

В виду большой протяженности здания, по длине его предусматриваются деформационные швы.
Деформационный шов по оси выполняется по всей высоте здания, разде-ляя при этом покрытие, перекрытия и стены.

Кажется, мой перевод уж слишком примитивно звучит:

Because of length of the building expansion dams are to be made along its length.
Centerline dams deformation is made through the full height of the building, dividing covering, floor structures and walls
