Hi Everybody,

Every dictionary defines "hot mix" as "aslfaltobetonnaja" or "asfaltovaja" smes and suchlike. However, the context of my translation is entirely metallurgical - so, do you think "hot mix" can also be used in the meaning of "rasplav" or "rasplavlennyj metall"? There is basically no context here, as it is a table of "6-day channel furnace firing schedule", and all I have is "APPROXIMATE HOT MIX TEMP. "

The next box is "Gage Indication (Bal. Orifice #397)". Any ideas for "bal. orifice"? All I could find is "balance piston orifice = отверстие в насосе для уравновешивания поршня ", but as far as I know channel furnaces do not have "porshni".
