Subject: Офф - поиск работы для native speaker Коллеги, sorry за офф: канадец с небольшим опытом преподавательской работы жутко хочет поработать в России (Москва/Питер). Не подскажите, куда ему можно обратиться - какие-нибудь агентства по поиску работы, учебные центры или учебные заведения, которым нужны native speakers ?

Знаю, что в СПбГУ на Специальном филологическом факультете вегда была нехватка native speakers, но не знаю, насколько это актуально сейчас |
Tell him to go to www.expat.ru and ask there. It's a huge site visited by every expat working in Russia. Alternatively, tell him to open The Moscow Times classifieds section (Wed/Sat), also available on-line ( www.themoscowtimes.ru - I think, but he can google it) and check there. They often post for ESL teachers. He can also advertise his services as personal classifieds are free. SpB has St. Petersburg Times, but I am much less familiar with it. He can also check with Canadian universities on who their language exchange partners are in Russia, they may need people. Finally, he could open a business guide and look under 'school' and cold call them. I'd look/ask on www.expat.ru and moscow times first. Both great resources. |
